thankQ enables you to manage the entire profile for each contact from one form. Regardless of your relationship with the contact – as a member or voluntary organisation, individual supporter or corporate partner, all the information is held in the same place, avoiding duplication of contact details across your organisation.
For many voluntary organisations a day-to-day relationship is built with individuals, but it is the history of the relationship with the organisation that is important. thankQ is designed to deal with exactly this situation, enabling all information to be ‘logged’ against the organisation, while still recording a ‘soft’ communication – a copy of the communication, against the individual.
Information about the contact (communication history, membership information, mailing preferences) is held on a number of different tabs, access to each of which can be set differently for each user.

volunteers
The thankQ volunteer module integrates with the Contact form and enables you to manage and update details of your volunteers; their specific skills and interests, security check status (for example, Criminal Records Bureau), their qualifications and their availability.
The module also enables you to manage the amount of time that volunteers contribute and the activities undertaken to help your organisation. These details can then be included in management reports.

members
The Membership module builds on the strong relationship management functionality within thankQ, to manage and develop your member base, providing:
- membership management
- subscription and finance control
- membership analysis
Membership functionality is integrated where necessary throughout the thankQ system, so there is no need to manage separate lists of members, supporters or volunteers. This ensures a single set of information, managed through a single user interface keeping things simple and easy for your users.
The module allows different forms of membership to be managed – different or promotional rates, gift memberships, associates or honorary lifetime memberships. Each level of member will be addressed appropriately and reminded in the right way at the right time when their membership becomes due for renewal.

relationships
thankQ uses a graphical interface similar to Windows Explorer to display the Relationship Tree, delivering a quick overview of a contact, listing relationships with other people and additional profile information.
The main advantage of the Relationship Tree is the ability to ‘walk’ through the information. By viewing your contact’s relationships it enables you to discover connections and information you did not know existed; a ‘friend of a friend’ approach to building your relationships.
Additional individuals or organisations can be ‘dragged’ onto the tree to easily add information to the profile of the contact. This association of contacts and information enables the relationship you have individually with a supporter to be shared across your organisation.
