managementevents

The thankQ Events module enables you to build your event on the system so that it reflects your structure - not one prescribed by your software. The module is full of functionality to help you manage your event:

  • An event can be subdivided into a hierarchy of sessions to represent each day or specific seminars or activities.
  • thankQ can be used to manage invitation lists, bookings and if necessary, payments.
  • People can be allocated to a resource with a limited capacity (number of children per adult, number of delegates to a room, number of diners to a table)
  • Speakers, volunteers and other resources can be assigned with costs stored against them.

The data managed by this module is integrated fully with the rest of thankQ – so for example, correspondence to a supporter, their attendance at the event or their payments all appear amongst other communications and donations.

The module also offers a set of standard reports ranging from delegate lists with dietary or access requirements to a financial overview.

projects

The Fundraiser module is designed to give a ‘fundraisers’ overview on a campaign or project; it brings together the different elements – people, mailings, income, costs and deadlines into one place to help you get a perspective on just how well things are progressing.

The module helps you select different contact groupings within your system, monitor test mailing responses and manage any follow-up mailings as responses are received. Unlimited response codes can be configured, allowing an instant overview of the performance of different media and styles of campaigning.

Also available through the same simple form are budget and cost information, action lists and the powerful document management tool. These features can be treated as ‘templates’ from one project to the next, allowing standard documents (for example, project plans, design briefs, cost analyses) or timescales to be automatically set up and copied into place next time you begin a project – each time helping you to refine your processes.

reporting & data tools

Each module within thankQ is packed with standard reports that can be used to analyse the performance of your organisation. In addition to these, thankQ has unrivalled searching and ad-hoc reporting allowing you to interrogate the data, design and save your own reports.

thankQ also has a set of ‘data tools’ that can be used to manipulate data outside the system, and import data from external sources. All information introduced into the system is de-duplicated before it can be accepted, based on either standard rules or those configured by an administrator.

The thankQ database is built on industry-standard databases and integrates with Microsoft Office. This smooth integration enables system administrators, with appropriate permissions, to take charge of their own data; produce reports, export and import data and integrate with other systems.

web access

We also provide an intranet or extranet interface, typically onto a subset of your thankQ data.

Using our webMiT rapid configuration toolkit we are able to deliver bespoke web-based data forms or apply more conventional web development techniques in a fraction of the time of conventional web development.

Our experience of implementing these solutions means we are well-versed in achieving the balance of allowing data to be held in a public area (for an extranet) while keeping it up to date with your office systems.
