communicationthank yous

One of the most important things that your organisation has to do is say thank you – in the right way, at the right time. thankQ enables you to build up an unlimited stock of paragraphs that can be merged into the thank you letter, based on the profile of the donor. Have they already given to that fund? Send them a different letter, with more information about that fund. Live in a certain area? Let them know what is happening in their area. There is no limit to the rules you can build up to determine the content of their personalised letter.

mailshots

thankQ has extremely powerful search options, enabling you to segment and target your database based on any combination of information held against your contacts. A full communication history is retained against each contact so you track who has received which mailings in the past.

thankQ can also analyse your mailing against Royal Mail ‘mailsort’ files saving money and assisting you in producing your entire mailing in-house. The label or letter output is sorted appropriately and produced with bag labels and summary reports for the Royal Mail.

appeals

In addition to producing one-off mailshots, thankQ includes the Fundraiser module allowing you to manage and analyse an entire appeal or campaign. Common tasks supported include:

  • specifying target groups or individuals
  • setting up Source codes / segments and identifying performance
  • setting up Destination (fund) codes
  • sending test mailings
  • creating mailings
  • tracking and reporting on income

newsletters

Newsletters are just one type of many standard mailings that you can set up in thankQ. With any such mailings, thankQ will ensure all relevant mailing preferences are applied. Therefore, for a given type of mailing such as a newsletter, each contact will receive the communication at the appropriate address, with the right salutation and via the right medium (e.g. e-mail, post, SMS, etc.) saving you costly mistakes in wasted postage or the embarrassment of wrongly addressed letters.

Where no preference is specified, the system will use the default address for each contact and notify you if there is no address recorded.
