peoplestudents & alumni

thankQ enables you to manage the entire profile for each contact from one form. Regardless of your relationship with the contact – as a current student, alumnus, supporter, or corporate partner, all the information is held in the same place, avoiding duplication of contact details across your organisation.

Information about the contact (educational profile, communication and donation histories, membership information, mailing preferences) is held on a number of different tabs, access to each of which can be set differently for each user if required.

relationships

thankQ uses a graphical interface similar to Windows Explorer to display the Relationship Tree, delivering a quick overview of a contact, listing relationships with other people and additional profile information.

The main advantage of the Relationship Tree is the ability to ‘walk’ through the information. By viewing your contact’s relationships it enables you to discover connections and information you did not know existed; a ‘friend of a friend’ approach to building your relationships.

Additional individuals or organisations can be ‘dragged’ onto the tree to easily add information to the profile of the contact. This association of contacts and information enables the relationship you have individually with a supporter to be shared across your organisation.

corporates

The Relationship Tree concept, based on Windows Explorer was developed within thankQ specifically with corporate relationships in mind. A number of different people within your organisation may have a relationship with a number of people at an other corporate supporter; thankQ enables you to bring all these into one place.

The system also provides the facility to record gifts in kind – consultancy time, facilities or sponsorship gifts.

mentors & placements

Elements of the Contact and Volunteer modules can be combined to help you manage mentoring or placement schemes. thankQ can be used to match interest or skill areas between potential mentors and placements and manage the communication sent during the application process. Where checks (such as Criminal Records Bureau) need to be carried out on the mentor, thankQ enables you to record this information and ensures that the results are only available to staff with the appropriate permissions.

To address a specific and more complicated process, ESiT has also provided a bespoke ‘workflow’ solution to manage the application process, ensuring the correct information is sent to, and received from, the applicants and the appropriate checks are performed. At each stage of the process, the ‘workflow’ – the procedural control, is applied to ensure that only the relevant information is available to the right person at the right time.
