Parts/drawings may be related to change notes enabling designers to quickly find their work also enabling the bulk release of parts and printing of drawings.

Workflow lies at the heart of all ADMiT systems, even when it is not visible to the user. ADMiT’s Workflow engine enables us to tailor our PLM/PDM systems to your business processes. Users are guided through your procedures and are offered the correct options at the correct time. Our record ownership system ensures only those authorised to have access, can edit specific part information.

system integration

ADMiT is able to link to, and integrate with, other software systems during, upstream and downstream of the design process. For example:

• Sending part and bills of materials information to MRP/ERP systems avoiding laborious re-keying. In some cases this includes production cost information derived from physical data about the part, such as number of holes, number of inserts and length of routered edge produced by analysing the electronic part file.
• Passing of cad files to CAM software.
• Production of pdf files and other non-CAD package specific versions of drawings/parts to enable other parts of the business to view them (for instance on a company intranet).
