Traditionally, document management has been reserved for 'important' documents (drawings, legal documents, invoices etc) however, as hard disks get larger, people’s inboxes are getting fuller and everyone has a printer on their desk, the proliferation of uncontrolled documents becomes an increasingly problematic issue.

cabinet is the management solution that enables you to amend, search, find and view scanned and electronic documents effectively.
cabinet can be configured to suit the way in which your organisation works, using your existing terminology and processes.
Documents in any format can be added to your cabinet – either in batches or individually – with the option to index them manually or automatically, depending on the document type.
Once documents have been stored in cabinet, it is possible to search for them in a variety of ways, using the standard search methods within the software or the ‘table view’ technique.
These search options enable users to find the documents they need quickly and easily, saving your organisation time that can be spent on more important tasks.
cabinet, like all of ESiT’s products, integrates with Microsoft Office and other applications, enabling it to work seamlessly with your existing systems.
The system provides a single point of access to documents, removing the need to keep multiple copies and ensuring version control is maintained.
cabinet offers two styles of user interface:
- The full client version, with cabinet’s full range of functionality built on the solid foundations of the ADMiT System, allowing for rapid configuration to fit with your organisation’s needs.
- The browser-based version is built on ESiT’s new webMiT technology, which provides a simple process for searching and viewing documents throughout your organisation.
integration with MS Office
ADMiT integrates with your standard office software – giving you control of your documents and reporting. This enables our solutions to send and receive information from MS Office products, such as document reference number, title, subject, revision and keywords.
workflow control
Workflow lies at the heart of all ADMiT systems, even when it is not visible to the user. ADMiT’s Workflow engine enables us to tailor our document management systems to your business processes. Users are guided through your procedures, being offered the correct options at the correct time. The record ownership system ensures that only those authorised can have access to edit specific document information.
ADMiT stores the revision history of documents ensuring that an audit trail is preserved and previous versions of a document can be accessed.
